Testing Your Coach

Before publishing your coach to the marketplace, you can test it directly from the Build tab in the sidebar. This lets you check that your instructions, knowledge base, and overall experience feel right.

How to Test

1. Click the Build tab in the sidebar
2. Click Test Coach in the Build navigation
3. Type a message and press Enter — your coach will respond just as it would for a real user

Test mode uses the same AI, guardrails, and knowledge base as the live experience, so what you see is exactly what your subscribers will get.

What You Should Know

• Messages are not saved — test conversations are temporary. When you leave the tab or click Clear Chat, the messages disappear.
• No impact on your analytics — test chats do not count towards subscriber metrics or conversation history.
• Works before publishing — you can test your coach while it is still in draft mode. There is no need to publish first.

What to Look For

When testing, try these things:

• Ask typical questions your target audience would ask — does the coach respond helpfully?
• Test edge cases — what happens if someone asks about a topic outside your coach's expertise?
• Check tone and style — does the coach match the personality you described in your instructions?
• Verify knowledge base answers — if you have uploaded documents, ask questions that should draw on that content

Requirements

Your coach needs instructions (at least 100 characters) before you can test it. If you have not added instructions yet, go to My Coach in the Build tab first.

After Publishing

Once you publish your coach, you automatically get full subscriber access to it. Your coach will appear in your Coach Library sidebar section, and you can chat with it just like your subscribers do — with saved conversations, memory, and full history. This is a great way to experience your coach exactly as your users will.

Once you are happy with your coach's responses, click Publish to make it live on the marketplace.
