Creating Your Coach

Once you have an Expert subscription, you can create and publish your own digital coach on the GuidanceAI marketplace.

Getting Started​

When you first access your Expert Dashboard (the Build tab in the sidebar), you will be guided through an AI-powered setup process. This walks you through choosing your coach's name, category, pricing, expertise, audience, and communication style.

After completing the guided setup, your coach will be created. You can then edit and publish it from the My Coach section of the Build tab.

Required Fields​

To publish your coach, you need to complete the following:

  • Title -- a clear, descriptive name for your coach
  • Description -- explain what your coach does (minimum 50 characters)
  • Category -- choose the category that best fits your coach
  • Pricing -- set a monthly subscription price (minimum £155/month, in GBP)
  • Coach image -- upload a primary image (4:3 ratio, cropped to 800×600px). This appears on the Discover page and your coach's detail page. Headshots and portrait photos work well
  • Instructions -- define how your coach behaves (minimum 100 characters)

Optional Fields​

  • Website -- link to your website or relevant resources
  • Hero sections -- add up to 3 promotional sections with images (1051x597px) to showcase your coach's features on its detail page

Saving and Publishing​

Save as Draft

You can save your coach as a Draft at any time. Only the title is required to save a draft, so you can come back and finish later.

When all required fields are complete, you can Publish your coach. Published coaches appear on the GuidanceAI marketplace immediately.

Test Before Publishing

Use the Test Coach tab to chat with your coach before publishing. Test conversations are temporary and not saved. See Testing Your Coach for more details.

Using Your Own Coach​

When you publish your coach, you are automatically given access to it as a subscriber. This means:

  • Your coach appears in your Coach Library in the sidebar
  • You can chat with it just like your subscribers do — with full conversation history and memory
  • There is no need to subscribe or pay for your own coach

This gives you a realistic view of the experience your subscribers will have, beyond what the ephemeral Coach provides.

Sharing Your Coach​

Once your coach is published, you can share it with potential clients using a direct link.

  1. Click the Build tab in the sidebar, then go to My Coach.
  2. Under Basic Information, you will see a Share link row with your coach's public URL.
  3. Click the copy button to copy the link to your clipboard.
  4. Send this link to anyone — they do not need a GuidanceAI account to view it.

When someone visits your link, they will see a landing page with your coach's details. From there they can:

  • Start a guided onboarding — a short questionnaire about their goals and communication preferences, followed by account creation and checkout.
  • Sign in — if they already have an account, they can sign in and subscribe directly.
tip

This is the easiest way to onboard new clients. Share the link in your emails, website, or social media.

Managing Your Coach​

  • Unpublish at any time to remove your coach from the marketplace
  • Edit a published coach without taking it offline -- changes apply immediately
  • Re-publish from draft when you are ready to go live again
