Starting a New Chat
When you open the Chat dashboard, the Start a new chat section gives you a one-click way to begin a fresh conversation with any Coach you have access to.
Where to find it
- Sign in and go to your Chat dashboard (
/chat). - Above Recent Chats, you will see the Start a new chat section.
- The section shows one tile per Coach you are subscribed to.
If you are not yet subscribed to any Coaches, the section is hidden — head to Discover instead to find a Coach.
Starting a new conversation
Click any Coach tile. You will be taken straight into a brand-new conversation with that Coach. Your previous chats with the same Coach remain available in the Recent Chats list and in the conversation sidebar inside the chat screen.
tip
"Start a new chat" always opens a fresh conversation. If you would rather pick up where you left off, use Recent Chats or Continue Last Chat under Quick Actions.
Why use this
- Faster start — no need to open the Coach's marketplace page or scroll past old chats.
- Clean slate — useful when you want the Coach to focus on a brand-new topic without the context of an earlier conversation.
- One tile per Coach — easy to see at a glance every Coach you have available.
