Managing Conversations

GuidanceAI saves all your conversations so you can pick up where you left off at any time.

Conversation Sidebar

On the left side of the chat screen, you will find the conversation sidebar. This lists all your conversations with the current agent, sorted by most recent.

Key Features

  • Click any conversation to resume it instantly
  • New Chat button to start a fresh conversation
  • Delete a conversation by clicking the delete icon (you will be asked to confirm)
  • Conversations are auto-titled based on the content after the first few messages

On Mobile

On smaller screens, the conversation sidebar is a slide-out drawer. Tap the menu icon to open it, and tap a conversation to load it.

Starting Fresh

If you want to begin a new topic with an agent:

  1. Click New Chat in the conversation sidebar
  2. A fresh conversation is created with no prior context
  3. Your previous conversations remain accessible in the sidebar

Deleting Conversations

To remove a conversation:

  1. Hover over the conversation in the sidebar
  2. Click the delete icon
  3. Confirm the deletion

Deleted conversations cannot be recovered. Make sure you no longer need the conversation before deleting it.
