Deleting Your Account
GuidanceAI supports GDPR-compliant account deletion. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.
This action is permanent
Account deletion cannot be undone. Please read this page carefully before proceeding.
How to Delete Your Account
- Go to Settings from the sidebar or header.
- Click the Danger Zone tab.
- Read the warnings carefully.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
- Check the acknowledgment checkbox confirming you understand the consequences.
- Click the delete button.
What Gets Deleted
- Your user account and login credentials
- Your profile information (name, avatar)
- All conversations and messages
- AI memories associated with your account
- Uploaded files and images
What Gets Cancelled
- All active Stripe subscriptions are immediately cancelled
- This includes both agent subscriptions and Expert subscriptions
No refunds
Cancelled subscriptions do not receive refunds. Any remaining time on your billing period will be lost.
What Is Preserved
- Purchase records are retained for financial compliance purposes. These contain no personal information -- only anonymised transaction references.
After Deletion
- Deletion is immediate -- there is no cooling-off period
- You will be signed out and redirected to getguidance.ai
- You will not be able to sign in again with the same account
- If you wish to use GuidanceAI in the future, you will need to create a new account
