Notification Preferences
Control which marketing emails you receive from GuidanceAI. Some emails — such as payment alerts and billing notifications — are always sent and cannot be turned off, as they are essential for your account security.
Managing Your Preferences
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Select Notifications from the menu.
- Use the toggles to turn each email category on or off:

Changes take effect immediately — there is no need to click a save button.
Emails That Are Always Sent
The following emails are essential for your account and cannot be turned off:
- Payment alerts — payment failures, subscription changes, and billing issues
- Subscription confirmations — when you subscribe to or cancel a coach
- Trial reminders — reminders before your free trial ends
Unsubscribing via Email
You can also manage your preferences by clicking the Manage preferences link in the footer of any marketing email from GuidanceAI. This opens a preferences page where you can subscribe or unsubscribe from individual email categories.
If you unsubscribe from an email category via an email link, the toggle in your GuidanceAI settings will be disabled and you'll see a message explaining that you unsubscribed via email. To re-enable that category, click Send me an email to update my preferences — this will send you an email with a link to manage your subscriptions.
If you unsubscribe via an email link, you can only re-subscribe through the preferences page in your emails — not through the GuidanceAI settings page. This is to respect your original unsubscribe choice.
